Whenever I am afraid, I will trust in You. In God (I will praise His word), In God I have put my trust; I will not fear. What can flesh do to me? [Psalm 56:3-4]
Again, we look at the context of this psalm: this is when King David was a Prisoner-of-War and was captured in Gath. They twist his words and plan to destroy him in every way. Yet, the phrase "I will praise His word" appears 3 times in the psalm! Why?
For You have delivered my soul from death. Have You not kept my feet from falling, That I may walk before God In the light of the living? (Psalm 56:13)
