Just as people are destined to die once, and after that to face judgment, so Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him. [Hebrews 9:27-28]
Christ was sacrificed to take away your sins and mine, past, present and future. Nothing we can do can atone for our sins but with everything Jesus did, even forgoing heaven to enter a helpless earth, taking likeness of sinful man, He did to remove our sins.
Your sins are forgiven! Jesus gives you the gift of no condemnation. Now, go and sin no more! (John 8:11)
