By faith Abraham, when called to go to a place he would later receive as his inheritance, obeyed and went, even though he did not know where he was going. [Hebrews 11:8]
This verse is a perfect example of trust in God's way and not our way. Reading on the story, we later see that God prospered Abraham even though he had no idea of God's plan.
We may not know in entirety God's full plan, but we can certainly trust the small steps He lead us in that will eventually bring us to completion in Christ Jesus.
