This is the kind of love we are talking about—not that we once upon a time loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as a sacrifice to clear away our sins and the damage they’ve done to our relationship with God. [1 John 4:10]
Because of Jesus, we now have right standing with God and our relationship with God is fully restored! Nothing can separate you from the love of God! Nothing! But it had cost Jesus everything. He gave up heaven in all it's glory to die for us peasants. What love. What joy. What a sacrifice, to buy us back to the kingdom of God.
