Bible-interpret-Bible: what is peace? The Bible tells us that the punishment for our peace was laid upon Jesus, and by His stripes, we are healed. (Isaiah 53:5)
This peace is peace in knowing that I am healed because Jesus was striped and cursed on my behalf. God can legally heal me and give me divine peace because He punished my sin in the body of Christ. By His stripes, I am healed!
