What is the Word of God? John 1 tells us that 'In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.' (1:1) and if we drop down to verse 14, 'the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth'
In verse 17, 'grace and truth came by Jesus Christ'. So the Word here is Jesus Christ!
I hope you realize by today that every part of the armor of God is talking about Jesus. Whenever you feel fearful, run to the cross! There is your comfort, your salvation, your deliverance, your victory! Run to Jesus!
