You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You have anointed my head with oil; My cup overflows. [Psalm 23:5]
Preparing a table here does not mean a wooden table but it means setting up food. It seems as though the key to overcoming the enemy is eating your way into victory! God wants you to look not at the big situation but look at the big God! He is your source of food to overcome the situation!
Oil here is symbolic of the Holy Spirit. Even in trials, God wants to let the Holy Spirit overflow from us. He wants us to be filled with the Holy Spirit and let His presence, which scares the enemy, overflow.
