#junehols2014 [31 May 2014] Glorious Fire

Today, I woke up in school church to begin Saints for Christ (SFC) Camp Day 2. It was fun, playing some mind-blowing games and some sports...getting all sweaty and stuff. It also taught me that I may suck at sports, but the team nonetheless needs me. (the irony, huh?)

But the highlight of the day was at our first official Project Logos gathering. Then 10 of us met at Bedok MRT Station and travelled to East Coast Park (ECP) together. We had a fun ice-breaker game, Fuzzy Wuzzy, which brain fried almost all of us, followed by a trek up the steepest Carpark D2 breakwater. Up there, we had worship and Communion, followed by a time of prayer for upcoming Megalife Camp 2014, Camp Kadash.

An awesome view of God's glory concluded the day as I returned to school to resume the camp. We dub the view as "Glorious Fire"

Reflections:
1) No one is useless, even if they suck. (in brutally honest language)
2) Communion is a time of intimacy, not religiosity.
3) Prayer is powerful not because of the prayer but because of the one we pray to.
